The process of applying for a Microcredit Loan is as follows:
Step 1: Attend an orientation session
Step 2: Attend the Business Model Canvas Workshop
Step 3: Meet with a Client Manager
Step 4: Complete a Loan Application Form
Step 5: Loan applications are assessed and successful applicants sign the Loan Agreement
ACT Microcredit Loans are supported by the ACT Government through the Office of Women, Community Services Directorate.
Unsuccessful applicants are informed in writing and are invited to utilise the other business support services provided by Lighthouse and the ACT Government.
Loan Funding Round 5 for the ACT Women’s Microcredit Program is open and will close on 2 March 2012. Don’t miss the Orientation Session on 2 February and Business Model Canvas Workshop on 23 February. Attendance at these is required prior to submitting a loan application.
The process of applying for a Growth Support Loan is as follows:
Step 1: Have completed a formal business review* with Lighthouse
Step 2: Review selection criteria
Step 3: Contact a Client Manager to discuss
Step 4: Prepare an expression of interest up to 500 words detailing how you intend to use the loan to introduce further growth to your business
*Reviews are scheduled a year after receipt of ACT microcredit loan. An earlier review can be requested if there has been significant growth in the business.
